in the heart of Scotland's beautiful Loch Lomond and Trossachs National
Park, you will find The Scottish Wool Centre, Aberfoyle.
Nestling at the foot of the highland boundary fault line, the village of
Aberfoyle is steeped in local history and legend.
It is the 'Gateway to the Highlands' and is a thriving, bustling and
vibrant place to visit at any time of year.
At The Scottish Wool Centre you will always receive a warm welcome. We
are a Visit Scotland 4 Star tourist attraction providing entertainment
and shopping for all.
Throughout the season, local shepherds present 'The Gathering' a
presentation and demonstration of sheep gathering, with working dogs,
sheep shearing, dog and duck displays and much, much more.
All the outdoor live shows are free of charge! Three times each day, the
shepherds and their working border collie dogs will entertain you and
your friends in our large grassy paddock. Several breeds of sheep can be
viewed in our smaller pens. See the dogs putting our ducks through their
paces too, in an hilarious agility demonstration.
Every day you can get up close and personal with the Birds of Prey.
Golden eagles, owls and falcons are here with their expert handlers to
answer all your questions and provide breath taking flying
demonstrations on selected days.
