Place : New Slains Castle
The now ruined New Slains Castle is located near Cruden Bay in Aberdeenshire, overlooking the North Sea. The remains stand perched atop tall, sea-facing cliffs, constructed around an existing tower house built in 1597 by the 9th Earl of Erroll.

During the 19th century is was often visited by Bram Stoker and it inspired his vision of Count Dracula’s Castle.

The castle today might not be haunted by Dracula or Monsters but there have been numerous sightings around the castle. Many locals avoid the castle after dark.
