My uncle Tam fae Glasgow cam
Along wae my Aunty Jenny
He put his hawn in his pooch and
brought oot a bran new penny
I went doon to the wee sweetie shop
and bought a stick o candy
when i cam back wee O'Hara said
Gies a sook o your rock and i'll gie you a hurl in ma barra
tho the bonny wee barra's mine
it disnae belong to wee O'Hara
the fly wee bloke, he stuck to my rock
so im gonnae stick tae ma barra
